Policies and Fees
New patients must call or email firstname.lastname@example.org with their contact information to make an appointment. We will respond to answer your questions and make your appointment.
Online scheduling is for established patients only. Patients who have seen Dr. Ferguson previously are considered established patients and may make on-line appointments.
The patient is responsible for payment at the time of service with cash, check, mastercard or visa credit card. Dr. Ferguson is not contracted with insurance companies or other third party payors.A superbill is provided so that the patient may file for reimbursement.
Telephone appointments are generally not covered by insurance. Payment for telephone appointments will be made with a credit card online at the time of scheduling.
Dr. Ferguson is now offering Integrative Medicine Consultation, Medical Acupuncture and Hormonal consultations (see services). She is no longer serving as a primary care provider. She requires that you have a primary care doctor for your routine and urgent care needs.
If you have a non-urgent discrete question or office question, you may e-mail email@example.com or leave a message on voicemail at 925-988-0140. Since there is no in-office staff, it may take up to 48 hours to receive a response. DO NOT SUBMIT URGENT MEDICAL MESSAGES TO THIS VOICEMAIL OR E-MAIL. Call your primary care doctor for urgent medical issues or call 911 for medical emergencies.
For most medical questions, an appointment is required. Established patients should go to "schedule an appt" to make an in-office appt or telephone appt online.
All routine medication refills must be received from your new primary care physician. For hormone therapy refills, ask your pharmacy to fax a refill request to 925.307.5742. Allow 3 business days for refill requests to be approved.
It is important that you keep your scheduled appointment or give more than 48 hours notice if you must change your appointment. For appointments canceled less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, you will be responsible for a charge equal to 50% of the visit fee.
